Thanks to the recent initiative by the Government of Pakistan, the federal authorities, and National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), anyone can verify and check their assets with FBR and NADRA online via the ‘FBR asset check’ portal.

The process has been made considerably easy and concise, as compared to a hassle it was before. One can not only view and verify the list of our possessions, but also download them if you wish to keep them for the purpose of documentation.

Check Assets with FBR Online in Pakistan

The following two portals provide you a complete list of all the assets under your name:

FBR Tax Profiling System

The portal is introduced by the Government of Pakistan to encourage its citizens to fulfill their responsibility of paying tax.  Through this portal an individual can view their profile, the list of assets under their possession and verify it, or even make corrections if necessary. The profile is created after collecting data from various official data sources and expenses of an individual. The Federal Board of Revenue hopes that after viewing their profiles, a non-tax filer would become part of the tax system.

As long as you are a citizen of Pakistan, you can verify your asset details online from anywhere in the world.

Eligibility Criteria to Check Asset Information

According to the authorities, an individual who wishes to check their asset detail online, through the FBR Tax Profiling System, must be:

• Above 18 years 
• A Pakistani national, with a valid CNIC and NICOP
• Have a valid PTA registered mobile number, for the ones living in Pakistan
• Have a valid email address, for the ones living abroad
• Made the payment of PKR 500, via NADRA e-Sahulat or Debit/Credit Card

How to Use the Portal?

Let’s give you a breakdown of the process to check your assets online through FBR tax profiling system:

• Visit their web portal 
• Fill the bar that reads ‘Enter Identity Number’ with your CNIC number
• Enter the computer-generated verification code and click submit
• Pay the application fee via your credit/debit card, or visit the nearest E-Sahulat franchise
• After completing the last step, details of your profile will be shown on the screen

Find Your E-Sahulat Franchise

If you do not know the nearest E-Sahulat franchise, just follow the below mentioned instructions:

• Log onto the NADRA tax portal
• Click on the ‘Where To Pay?’ on the top right corner of the dashboard
• Select your district
• Select your Tehsil
• Fill in the computer generated code and click ‘Search’
• As soon as you hit search, it will show you the list of all the E-Sahulat franchise in your Tehsil

You can view the following information on the portal:

• Total Income
• Net Wealth
• The SIM card registered by your name
• Number of cars owned
• Passport
• Travel Information
• Arms License
• Executive Services
• Tax Filer Status
• NTN number 
• Tax paid
• Withholding Tax

FBR Assets Inquiry System

Also known as the FBR Maloomat Portal, the FBR assets inquiry system allows the residents of the country to view the information related to their asset details online and economical transactions, from the comfort of their homes. 

Eligibility Criteria to Check Asset Information

In order to check your asset information through the FBR malomat portal, one needs to fulfill the following requirement:

• Be of 18 years or above
• Have a valid CNIC/ NICOP
• Mobile phone number  registered with PTA 

How to Use the Portal?

To make the process of checking assets with FBR, easier for you we have prepared a set of guidelines that you need to follow:

• Visit the official website 
• Send your CNIC number to 9966, using the PTA registered mobile number
• If you don’t already have an account, then click on ‘Register Now’ 

Enter the 13 digit CNIC number and choose the appropriate prefix

Fill in your First name, Middle name and Last name

Choose your service provider, the company your SIM card belongs to

Enter your phone number registered with PTA

Write the computer generated code 

Finally hit ‘Submit’

• Enter the code received on your mobile number
• After you have successfully logged in, you will be shown various options
• Click on the tab you wish to seek the information of 
• Hit ‘Load Data’ and you will receive the following information

Travel Information

Utilities with the amount of the bills

Details of property under your name

Vehicles

Withholding Tax

Note: FBR regularly updates the assets, which will result in the information changing. You should visit the portal regularly to avoid any confusion.
