Lahore: On the 11th of March, a report was put forward before the Punjab Assembly for approval. The report highlighted 18 tourism projects in order to promote tourism in Punjab.
The 18 projects follow in line with the Prime Minister’s wish to boost the tourism industry, similar to the Al-Biruni Radius project launched in Jhelum.
Under the project, the concerned authorities will add barbed wires, reconditioned stairlifts, and provide residential accommodation to on duty staff. Out of the other 18 projects, some include developmental works on parkway attractions and a viewpoint in Kotli Sattian. The project under development in Kotli Sattian would provide tourists with an alternative hill station, lessening the tourist crowd from Murree.
Furthermore, water scooters, pedal boats and motor boats will be procured for Kallar Kahar Lake; a resort will be constructed near Dharabi Lake Chakwal; a tourist resort will undergo expansion.
