Normal Bill
Rates defined by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) are used to adjust SNGPL Normal bills. Pressure factors of the gas consumed by the customers are recorded by the SNGPL meters. Readings of meters installed by the company are then used to adjust the Sui gas bills of customers.
Estimated Bills
Due to some reasons, defined by SNGPL, sometimes it’s not possible to read the meter. In such cases, mentioned below, an estimated bill is issued. Meanwhile, this bill is adjusted according to the history of the consumer in the same period of last year. The reasons include;
- Your Meter under rain water
- The Meter locked inside the premises
- Meter covered with bushes
- Premises not found
- Meter position not approachable
- Meter installed above normal height
- Index glass dirty/Misty
- Water inside meter
- Meter covered with dust
For example, if your meter is not working in the month of November 2021 then the amount will be estimated by the bill paid in November 2020.
Minimum Bill
This type of Sui gas bill is issued when the consumption of the consumer recorded was nil. If the meter reads zero or the minimum measure informed by OGRA is not consumed, a Minimum Bill is adjusted by the SNGPL. Meanwhile, this amount is adjusted as per the meter rent and the General Sales Tax (GST).
Sticky / Stopped Meter Bill
If someone is unfortunate enough to have his/her meter out of order, then a Sticky / Stopped Meter Bill is issued. The adjustment of this bill is done by supposing the average general billing of the ongoing season (summer/winter).
