With the commencement of the sixth season of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 6 from today onwards, February 20th 2021, the Karachi traffic police has issued a detailed traffic plan for the convenience and guidance of the people of the city.
As per HBL PSL Traffic Plan 2021, the route heading towards National Stadium from Hassan Square has been closed for all forms of traffic.

Following are the major routes and traffic hubs of Karachi which will be affected by PSL Traffic Plan 2021:

- Hassan Square Fly-Over: All forms of traffic coming from Liaquatabad will not be able to use the Hassan Square fly-over, instead they will have to use the University Road, and the traffic from Hassan Square bridge will be diverted towards New Town.
- Karsaz Road: Apart from heavy vehicles and public transport, all forms of small and medium vehicles will be permitted to use the Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road heading towards the National Stadium.
- Millennium: Apart from heavy vehicles and public transport, all forms of small and medium vehicles will be permitted to use Dalmia Road to head towards the Stadium Road Signal.
- New Town: Apart from heavy vehicles and public transport, all forms of small and medium vehicles will be permitted to use the New Town/University Road heading towards Stadium Signal.
Heavy traffic will be directed from Sohrab goth to NIPA, Liaquatabad Number 10, and Hassan Square, however, it will remain closed from PP Chowrangi to University Road, Karsaz to National Stadium, Millennium to New Town.
Furthermore, Javed Ali Mahar, DIG traffic has instructed the police to make certain that the general public follows the PSL Traffic Plan 2021 and warns that no negligence shall be tolerated.
