However, Lahore is one of few cities in Pakistan where you can actually witness infrastructural development far and wide. Lahore Metro Bus project is one of them. Furthermore, this Metro Bus system has not just upgraded means of public transportation but also opened gates of employment at a massive scale.

Credit goes to the alliance of the previous provincial government of Punjab and the Turkish government that capitalized Punjab Mass transit Authority (PMA) to launch Lahore Metro Bus on February 10, 2013, which is also known as Bus Rapid Transit System Lahore. In addition, this was also a gesture of Pakistan and Turkey’s foreign as well as brotherly relations. As a result, the greatest benefit of this service is that people will not have to suffer in hot weather inside redundant buses. That is why this BRT system is also in other cities like Multan, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Karachi. Here is all you can read about Green Bus System in Karachi.
