In light of recent developments across the globe, any public gathering such as dinning out at a restaurant, going to school or traveling anywhere in the world requires an individual to present with proof that they have been vaccinated. In order to simplify the process, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has launched the “Pak Covid-19 Vaccination Pass App” in collaboration with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

Instead of having to carry your vaccination card and certificate, the application has been introduced to make the process easier – you can now carry a digital Covid-19 vaccination certificate. With the help of the APP, Covid-19 Vaccination certificate can be easily downloaded on the user’s phone, by entering their National Identification Card’s (NIC) number. The application is available on both iOS and Android. The issued pass could then be used for domestic and international travel, public gatherings, and for various activities including visiting cinemas, or dining out.

The most recent fourth wave of COVID has left the country’s rate of positive cases multiplying tenfold. The first step to protecting ourselves from the rapidly spreading virus is to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Once you have been successfully vaccinated, the next step is to get a certificate issued against your vaccination card in order to provide you with proof that you have been inoculated. However, with the introduction of the Covid-19 Vaccination Pass App, all you have to do is download the app, and directly download your NADRA issued certificate to your smartphones.

Keep in mind that, these application only allows you to download an already issued certificate. In order to get a certificate issued, you will have to follow the procedure issued by NADRA, to get your vaccination certificate. Step 2: Enter your CNIC number and COVID-19 vaccine certificate number in the given empty spaces.

Step 3: You will now see that your certificate has been transformed into a PDF, easily available for download!

Use of the Vaccination Certificate/Pass
