This Oxford Pakistan Programme successfully came to reality after the consistent efforts of co-founders, academic bodies, the British High Commission of Pakistan, the British Council, and sponsors. About Oxford Pakistan Programme
It was launched on September 30th ‘21 in Pakistan High Commission in London to promote Pakistani studies and activities at Oxford University. Moreover, this program will help top students of Pakistani background to study at this university. An average of 60 students from Pakistan get admission to the University of Oxford every year, which is cheap compared to other developing countries in the world. Furthermore, this program connects Pakistani scholars and students with the University of Oxford via student exchange programs and scholarships. With the help of this program, deserving British-Pakistani and Pakistani students can easily study at Oxford. If we go back in history six Prime Ministers and two Presidents of Pakistan were alumni of Oxford. Namely, Liaqat Ali Khan, Mohammad Ali Jauhar, Imran Khan, Benazir Bhutto, Zulfiqar Bhutto, etc. Also, Oxford Pakistan Programme 2021, which was the first badge, has successfully made it.

OPP Graduate Scholarships
Students who are good enough in the academic field and highly deserving can avail themselves of a partial and full scholarship. OPP Graduate Bursaries
This one is the Liaqat Ali Khan Bursary, which is another vital type of Oxford Pakistan Programme. It allows students to carry on their studies in Oxford during their tough financial conditions. Research Grants

Allama Iqbal Lecture Series
A writer, philosopher, and politician, Sir Mohammad Iqbal, is a symbolic personality of South Asia. Also, some called him “the Poet of the East”. To pay tribute to his services, Oxford Pakistan Programme included his section named as Allama Iqbal Series.
Here, his literature along with eastern scholars and poets i.e, Maulana Rumi, Imam Ghazali, Ibn Arabi, Guru Nanak etc. will help elevate the cognitive horizons of students. Furthermore, people from fields like politics, theology, philosophy, literature, and international relations will be able to benefit from this programme. Here, Mr Abdullah Dadabhouy, St. Peters College and LMH-Pakistan have contributed to this programme.
Visiting Fellow Programmes
Mr Hamid Ismail, Graduate of the University of Oxford (2021) and Director of Ismail Industries, contributed with generous donations to help senior Pakistani academics at the University of Oxford for development in Pakistan with the help of their research programme. Here, the applicant must be
1) PhD holder
2) Resident of Pakistan
3) Faculty of a Pakistani University
Also, Malala Yousufzai Fellowship will help girls from underdeveloped areas of Sindh, Pakistan, to study at this university. In this programme, one female student will get an opportunity to study here so education can prosper in these underdeveloped areas of Pakistan where women’s education is in dire need.
Visiting Student Programme
This one is an exchange programme which will allow every year only one student from any Pakistani University to study for four months at the University of Oxford. Here, the applicant must meet these requirements;
1) Must have a CGPA of 3.7 or above.
2) Completed at least two years of an undergraduate programme.
