Any violation of the law can cause problems in the future. If you apply for a permanent driver's license in Karachi, you will need to undergo certain tests, which we will discuss below.

Written, visual and driving tests:

First, a written test will be conducted to assess your knowledge and understanding of the city's civil and traffic laws. Subsequently, in Karachi licensed centers, an eye test will be conducted by medical examiners.

Once you have completed both tests, you need to drive a car. It is recommended to bring your own vehicle. Pro Tip: Make short turns and park it safely in a marked zone. Practice too before you appear for the test. That's crucial.

After you have passed all these tests, you will receive a receipt and will be asked to wait one week for your license to be sent to you.
